Privacy Policy

The Loss Mitigation Center (“LMC”) acknowledges the significance of protecting the privacy of certain information ("Information") collected about our customers and prospective customers (referred to as "Customers," "you" or "your"). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to disclose what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it. It is our intention to give you an understanding about how we collect your Information and the use we make of it in the course of our business.

LMC gathers two types of information from our Customers through the following means:

    Via Optional and Voluntary;
    • A request for any information provided on www.LossMitCenter.us;
    • A request for web based chat as provided on site and initiated by Customers or LMC;
    • A request for services provided by LMC or any of their collaborative's.
  • Via aggregated tracking;
    • by tallying page views throughout our site.

That information will be used to tailor our content to fit Customer’s needs better.  Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third parties without your consent, except as may be noted in this Privacy Policy or disclosed to you when the Information is submitted.

How do we collect Information?

LMC collects information by specifically requesting it from you. Typically, the information you provide on our site will be used to facilitate your request to deliver information, to provide services, or for a web based chat initiated by Customers or by LMC.

Tracking Customer Website Visits
 
Use of Internet Protocol ("IP") Addresses:
An IP address is a unique number that is automatically assigned to your computer by surfing the Internet.  The IP address allows your computer to be identified by the "Web servers” that are responsible for “serving up" Web pages on your computer screen.

LMC collects IP addressed to audit the use of our site and for the system administration purposes.  It is initiated by Customers requesting to view any web page from our site, our servers will automatically log the Customers’ IP address.  The IP address is not typically linked to anything personally identifiable, in other words Customer’s browsing session will be logged, but the Customer will remain anonymous to us.  We have to option to use the IP Address to identify a Customer only when it is necessary to enforce compliance with our sites terms of use or terms of service or to protect our service, site, customers or others.

Who do we share your Information with?
As a general rule we will not disclose any specific personal information that you submit to us about you ("Personal Information") in a manner that connects you with the Personal Information, except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below.

If we have reason that by us disclosing this Information to identify, contact or bring legal action against any individual or individuals that may be in violation of our terms of use or potentially causing injury or interference (intentionally or unintentionally) with any of our rights or property, our other Customers, or anyone else.  We may disclose Information to identify individuals or individuals when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and/or other purposes deemed necessary to maintain, service, and improve the content and/or our services.

Controlling the usage of Personal Information?

In instances that your Personal Information changes (such as address or e-mails address) or that you may simply changed your mind, we will try to provide a way to correct, update or remove the Personal Information that you give us.  We will also provide you the option to control the communications we direct to you.  A Customer may e-mail LMC via our contact page to request for an update to the Customer’s Personal Information or objections to any usage provided herein.

What happens when you link to a third party site?

You are given notice that when you are browsing on our site you could be directed to other sites (hyperlink) that are beyond our control and/or outside of our service.  An example of this is you “click” on a banner or advertisement, the “click” may transfer you from our site to another as directed by the banner or advertisement.  These sites may include sites of advertisers, sponsors and partners that may use our logo as part of a co-branding agreement.  These other sites may send their own cookies to Customers, collect data, or solicit Information.

We do not control or have any means to control such sites, and, therefore, are not responsible for their contents or the hyperlinks or advertising they choose to place on such sites.  If we choose to include these hyperlinks to these sites it does not imply any endorsement of the material on such sites or any association with their operators. Our policy does not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, which is beyond our control.

You should be aware that if you choose to give out information online (for example, via chat or message boards) it can be collected and used by individuals you do not know.  LMC strives to protect our Customers’ information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online, and you disclose such information at your own risk.

Is my Information secure from others using this site?
The security of all information associated with our Customers is an important concern to us.  We take care in providing secure transmission of any information that you provide from your computer to our servers.  Unfortunately, no transmission of any data over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  While we endeavor to protect your information, LMC cannot warrant the security or ensure that any information you transmit to us or from our site is 100% secure and you do so at your own risk.  Once your information is received, we use industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of that information.  There is no security method for transmission of information that is 100% secure and that method does not exist on the Internet.
